Planting and Maintenance of Your Vineyard
When and Where to Plant a Vineyard?

Ideal period: from November to March (frost excluding)

Exposure: full sun (south/south-east preferred)

Soil: well-drained, even poor or stony

Protection: sheltered from cold winds

Support: trellis, pergola or wire essential

Dig a hole 50-60cm deep and wide
Loosen the soil well and add compost
Plant leaving the graft point 3-4cm from the ground
Install the trellising stand immediately
Water thoroughly after planting
