This Brugnon is a medium-sized fruit with pale pearly yellow skin and is very aesthetic. Its dense cream flesh offers a pleasant, sweet and slightly acidic texture, with a strong fragrance. Its core is adherent, which distinguishes it from other free-stone varieties. Very popular on the palate, it seduces lovers of subtle and summery flavors.
The Brugnon Blanc peach tree is a vigorous, closed-habit tree that adapts well to sunny climates. It requires well-drained, fertile soil and a south-facing exposure to produce in abundance. It is very gradually susceptible to blistering, which makes it an interesting choice for organic or sustainable farming.
To promote production and limit blistering, it is advisable to practice aerated pruning at the end of winter. Treatments based on horsetail decoction or copper as a preventive measure can be used if necessary.
