The Reinette d’Angleterre apple tree is a good autumn apple, ideal for growing in low stems. Its fruits are fragile and fall easily, but they offer an excellent taste quality with a tender, melting, tangy and very juicy flesh. This heritage variety is frequently found in the Hauts-de-France.
Characteristics of the fruit
The fruit is large in size (85 mm), with a rounded and homogeneous conical shape. The epidermis is yellow-green with a red, slightly streaked cheek. The flesh is tender, juicy, and offers a good balance between sugar and acidity.
Use of the fruit
The Reinette d’Angleterre is an excellent knife apple. It is harvested from the second half of September and reaches maturity in October-November.

The tree has medium vigour and is very branched, adapted to low and trellised forms on semi-vigorous rootstock.
