Fire blight: apple, pear, nashi and quince trees and other fire blight host species cannot be shipped to the protected zones in Spain (Regulation (EU) 2019/2072): Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, the provinces of Álava and Biscay, Catalonia and the Valencian Community. Your cart flags this automatically; other trees can still be delivered.

Maximum length: 1.75 m. Maximum weight: 30 kg per parcel. Tall trees may be cut back slightly, with no effect on how well they establish.

Everything you need to know about the delivery of your trees

When do you ship the trees?

We ship from December to March, during the dormant season; there is no shipping in November. Orders containing pistachio trees, grapevines or olive trees ship from January. On request, if you are worried about frost, we can deliver in early March.

How long does delivery take?

Once your parcel has shipped, allow 3 to 6 working days depending on the country. In France, DPD Predict offers you a delivery time slot.

Why has my tree been cut back in the parcel?

DPD parcels are limited to 1.75 m. If your tree is taller, we trim it slightly for transport. This does not affect how well it establishes and often encourages better branching in spring.

Do you deliver to islands?

French coastal islands: yes, with a DPD surcharge of €24.06 incl. VAT per parcel, added automatically. Why can't I order apple trees to some regions of Spain?

These regions are fire blight protected zones (Regulation (EU) 2019/2072). Host species — apple, pear, nashi and quince trees and related species — cannot be shipped there: Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, the provinces of Álava and Biscay, Catalonia and the Valencian Community. Remove them from your cart to order your other trees.

How is the shipping cost calculated?

It depends on the total weight of your order and your destination country. From 25 trees, an extra box ships as a separate parcel, and the rate takes this into account. The exact amount is shown in your cart before payment.

What if my tree arrives damaged?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the parcel and the tree. Together we will find the best solution: replacement or refund.
