Cultivation and maintenance

The Kraunicka pear tree has good resistance to scab, which makes it easy to grow. This hardy variety adapts well to different soil types and climates. However, its early flowering requires special attention to late frosts.

Planting Tips

Plant your Kraunicka pear tree in well-drained soil, in a sunny situation. This variety adapts particularly well to calcareous soils thanks to the recommended rootstocks (BA29 or Pyrus Kirchensaller).
